In a world dominated by screens and standardised testing, the true essence of language has been lost. Excessive screen time has quietly reduced the time children spend with books, stories and sustained reading.
Vocabee was founded to move beyond the “Tuition Culture.” We saw children who could memorize grammar rules but couldn’t hold a confident conversation; children who could read words but couldn’t visualise stories. While the focus remained on exams and memorisation, confidence and creativity took a toll.
We founded this studio to return to the basics of craftsmanship – building language skills with precision, patience, and creativity.
Vocabee addresses the gaps that traditional language learning often leaves behind.
“As an Arts graduate and a professional graphic designer, I have always believed in the power of creativity, expression, and thoughtful communication.
Vocabee was born at the intersection of my professional life as a designer and my personal journey as a parent. In a world obsessed with outcomes and exams, I saw children’s natural curiosity being replaced by the pressure to perform.
I wanted something different for my child and yours. I envisioned a studio that prioritizes ‘Expression over Perfection.’ Vocabee is a sanctuary for language – a place where we celebrate the messy, creative process of learning.
A place where children are encouraged to speak freely, think independently and enjoy the process of learning language.”
